I went to watch a friend play in a league game of Aunt Sally in Oxford. I got a chance to play in the beer leg, I had 6 sticks... the first one ended up in the tree... all the others went a lot nearer... and my result for the round was 1... :D It felt great to knock it down
It was a good night, I'm going again next week :)

Men and their minds...

How come if you give a bloke a choice of something, he always picks an unavailable option? Pink top or Blue top? Well the red ones nicer...

Skirt or trousers? well the Dress is my favourite...

Maybe one day they will something from within the options they were given.....

Its been a while...

Sorry for the lack of posting..

It's been busy times... I finished Gromit for a friend at work, who has now left. He seems to be missing a chunk out of his right ear... I only noticed after I had finished. how annoying.
I'm quite please with this and how quick I finished it. I did spend every free minute on it though.

In other news... I'm addicted to the Marmite crackers which a friend introduced me to. They are yummy :)

Saying Bye...

Well that was the hardest thing I've done in a while. I avoided it for as long as I could, just so I wouldn't have to go through the pain....

So I first said goodbye to a guy who I've had good fun working with, and his wife is lovely to. She always says hi and asks how I am etc. This was proving hard.... I gave them both a hug and wished them well, and was promised that they'd be back to visit. (and an open invite to theirs, which I will be taking up at some point!)

Then I said bye to a friend of mine, I sit next to him at work... Since he moved upstairs it's been good. He's quite quiet, but spoke to me :) During the meal we had a few laughs, especially with here comes the aeroplane. I nearly wet myself :)

Having to say bye was VERY hard, I don't want him to leave but understand why he wants to. I went over and hugged him and told him to stay in touch (else I would beat him up) I really hope he does. As I walked home feeling all down, I get a text, missing you already. This is when I feel very emotional.......

Simon, I'll miss you. It will not be the same without you. You better come back for a badminton rematch when your out of practise... I'll be a PRO by then.

bookmark done...

This is my most recently completed bookmark. This is the hardest one I've done. It's made up of half stitches with two different shades rather than 1 complete stitch. Piglet is made up of 7 shades of pink!! As the shades weren't seperated I did this myself and guessed which was which. I made one mistake. The dark pink on the ears should be at the bottom corner and a pink from there should be on the ears. To late now. My cousin likes it at least :)

the other night

I was waiting at a bus stop at about 12.30. All the young drunked riff raff were about. There was a group of kids, who I don't think were 18! and a bloke who looked a little older. The bloke was of the grebbo type. long hair, black, piercings. Well anyway... one of the kids in the group. STARTED THROWING HIS CHIPS AT THIS BLOKE!!! FOR NO REASON. What was that about. I thought it was mucking around and I realised that the 2 didn't know each other. I was so pissed off. The bloke couldn't say anything cos the group would have ganged up. Sad world we live in where people are singled out for being different.

Sinking...

Ever had that sinking feeling.... you wait all day to see someone, get really exicted and then it doesn't go anything like how you planned.

It's funny how you can be sitting next to someone a whole evening and watch a film and still feel awkward.
